15 Lb. Cutbow Leads Late Winter Catches
IONE – If you want to catch a big, beautiful trout in the Mother Lode lakes, it’s hard to beat Lake Amador.
Just ask Jacob and Nick, who went fishing with Dale Hansen of Sacramento and a caught a 15 lb. Amador trout from the bank. Their 4 fish stringer weighed in at 27 pounds, reported Lee Lockhart at the Lake Amador Resort. The fish were all caught on glitter PowerBait.
Brandon, Jered, and Danny caught also caught 11 “very nice” trout with the total stringer weight of 44 pounds. The biggest fish was 6.8 pounds and they caught them all on PowerBait in Rock Creek and Bruce’s Bay from a boat.
